Rajasthan, also known as the “Land of Kings” or “Land of Kingdoms,” is India’s largest state in terms of area. The state is located in the country’s northwest and is a cultural melting pot. The state was earlier known as Rajputana and Rajasthan came into existence and got its recognition on March 30, 1949.
